Code of Conduct
We love our community, and we know you do too.
Locelle is dedicated to providing a safe, harassment-free environment for all participants.
It matters to us that every single one of the members of our community has an awesome time onsite at all of our events. From the content to the parties to the show floor, the Locelle team works tirelessly to produce best-in-class events that fuel your imagination, spark your creativity and help you forge meaningful connections. We also work hard to ensure that everyone feels safe, supported and welcome onsite. To that end, this Code of Conduct spells out the behaviours we support and those we oppose at all of our conferences.
We live our core values, and we ask the same from you. Whether you’re onsite, at the networking or on the app, you’re a Locelle ambassador. It’s up to you to help ensure our community remains a safe place, free from harassment and intimidation, irrespective of gender (including gender identity and expression), ethnicity, ability, sexual orientation, physical appearance, age, religious and political beliefs.
Harassment includes (but is not limited to): offensive comments, verbal threats or demands, intimidation, stalking, harassing photography or recording, inappropriate physical contact, sexual imagery, microaggressions, sustained disruption of sessions or events, unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention. We expect all participants, attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers to follow the Code of Conduct during the events. This includes events related social events offsite locations, and includes online communities and social media.
Any report of violation of the Code of Conduct at one of our events will be addressed immediately. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Event participants violating this Code of Conduct may be expelled without a refund and/or banned from future Locelle events at the discretion of the organizer.
